Job Opportunities for Newcomers to Canada
Work at a Canadian Summer Camp
As a ‘Newcomer to Canada’, you might not be familiar with the tradition of summer camps. Many families in Canada send their children to summer camps so they can participate in new activities, make new friends and experience the outdoors. For many children, going to camp is an absolute highlight of their childhood. There are many different types of camps catering for different demographics, interests and needs of children.
The camps need lots of staff over the summer and often hire many international counselors to help out with different tasks as well as lead activities. If you are interested in becoming an integral part of a camp community, make new experiences and get to know a Canadian tradition, then working at a summer camp might be a great option for you.
